The right deejay is critical to the success of your special event.
Lasting Impressions' deejays are knowledgeable professionals with many years of experience. They are properly attired; tuxedos for weddings and suits for all other affairs.
For weddings, we believe
that this is your special day and you should have considerable input in the
services we offer. To accomplish this, we provide you with our
Wedding Reception Itinerary Sheet. This form allows
us to coordinate all events between you, the banquet manager and our deejay.
We also provide you our Bridal Party Introduction Sheet
to layout the order in which you would like your Bridal Party introduced,
along with the proper pronunciations. Finally, we provide you with our Most
Requested Songlist to use as a guide in selecting any special dances.
We also suggest selecting between 20-25 songs to be played throughout your
reception. This way you will have a big input on what is being played. If
there is a song that you want and it is not on this list, you can search our
Master Songlist. We offer an extensive list of songs
ranging from ballads, top 40, rock and country, to motown, big band, standards,
rap and ethnic music. Our deejay will then use these tools to coordinate,
direct and emcee the event from the introductions of the Bridal Party and
the cake cutting, to the throwing of the garter and bouquet. We typically
close the reception with all of your guests in a large circle for the last
dance. And finally, we will give you three hours of Complimentary
Limousine Service.
For other events, we also send you our songlist and suggest selecting between 20-25 songs to be played throughout your event. We will also follow any itinerary you provide. You will have use of our PA system for any need, such as speeches or awards ceremonies.
In order to ensure the highest quality sound, we use mainly compact discs with the exception of some hard-to-find selections on cassette. We have state-of-the-art sound systems and unlike other deejays that use two small speakers on stands, we use four speakers that include two base speakers. They not only let you hear the music, but feel the music. It's not that we will "blow out" the crowd, but we have the ability to really crank it up and the speakers separate the sound clearly. We also carry a backup PA system in case of emergencies.
